Earth having two movements
1. Moving around the sun
2. Rotation itself on the position.
Radius of the earth is 6,378 km
One day is equals to (24 hours X 60 minutes X 60 Seconds) Seconds
= 86,400 Seconds.
= 85,000 sec (Just that's only)
Earth will cover the axis rotation in a day
= With in 24 hours a place in earth will rotate the area of the surface area(of earth), which will calculate by using the equation
2pR = Surface area of the earth
p = 3.14
R is the radius of the earth.
= 2 X 3.14 X 6378 km
= 40,053.84
@ 40,000 km
That means with in a day a point on the earth surface will move 40,000 km
One Sunday you spent your time with our family, in our house or u think you took rest that whole day. Don’t think you took rest in your home; actually you are covered 40,000 km that sweet Sunday!
That means 40,000 km distance is covered in 85,000 sec.

For one second = 40,000 / 85,000 km/sec
= 0.4705 km
@ 0.5 km / sec
That is earth will move at a speed of 0.5 km / sec.
For a hour = (0.4705 X 60 X 60) km / hour
= 1,693 km / hour
@ 1,700 km/hour
That means 15 times of our train and 20 times speed than the Indian cars!
We are sitting in a chair in a room, but we are still in the speed of 1,700 km/hour.
What a surprise? But
Why we are not feeling the speed?
We are in the inside the earth and taking the earth’s frame of reference. The speed is constant. If speed is decreased or accelerated then we will come to know... But if we considered the frame of reference is the solar system, we have a parabolic motion and there it will reflect! (E.g. when a car is moving at a constant speed in a highway, if your eyes kept close, you will not found the speed of the car)
But don't think this is the only speed of the earth, because our earth is moving at a speed of 30 km / sec. around the sun.
Next one is the movement of the solar system in the Milky Way galaxy.
This is the speed of 250 km / sec
Further tour is to the Milky Way galaxy speed around the Local Group. This is the speed of 300 km/sec
Now you see the speed of the earth is how much ?
You imagine a small fraction of second this earth stops its movement, what will be happens?
Oh my God!!
What will happens a 100km/speed car will cut (brake pedal) the speed suddenly, the car will skid and the very next moment it will get a crash!!!
The same will not happened in this case. Because, the speed of earth is very high.
Shall I add all these speeds?
Speed = (0.5 + 30 + 250 + 300) km/ sec + "X"
= 580.5 km / sec.+ X
= ( 580 X 60 X 60 ) km / hour + X
= 20,88,000 km / hour + X
Average speed is 20 lacks km/hour , can you imagine it?
Your car speed is very negligible in front of this...(next time you demand the car company to achieve this speed, ok ?!!)
Here ‘X’ means the speed of the Local Group on the other (semi) local Group and many more orbits which was not found yet by our scientist! Still scientists agree that there is some thing to revolve or rotate.
I think the speed of the earth is almost equal to the velocity of light = 3,00, 000 km/sec (3 lack ) after including X + XX+ XXX ...!!
How complicate is the thing now?

I have one doubt about earth's movements. Is earth revolving around the sun with a permanent tilt of 23.5 degrees or does the earth change the tilt such that during the summer the tilt is in the north pole and during winter, the tilt is in the south pole?
It is why the seasons change, am I right?
